Trump Speaks of ‘Calm Before The Storm’

Everyone’s least favourite wotsit is at it again, the US president posed for a photo at the White House yesterday surrounded by all his military leaders and their partners.

When posing for the photo he asked journalists ‘Do you know what this represents?’. When asked what it represents, the president played coy and said “I don’t know. Maybe it’s the calm before the storm. Could be the calm. The calm before the storm.”

When asked if this was anything to do with him planning to pull of the Iran nuclear agreement or if he was sending a message to ISIS. The president just said ‘We’ve got the world’s greatest military people in this room. I will tell you that. And we’re going to have a great evening.’

When asked once again what he meant by “storm”, he said “You’ll find out”.

People in the US are lead to believe that this is in regards to Trump pulling out of a deal with Iran in regards to their production of nuclear weapons, the deal means that Iran are under strict sanctions and regulations. By pulling out it means that Trump may risk causing tension in the Middle East.

Or these comments could be a hint at the growing tension between America and North Korea, as Trump repeatedly taunts North Korea on Twitter, by referring to its dictator Kim Jong-un as ‘rocket man’.

During his meeting with military officials Trump requested that the leaders move faster in order to give him potions about military action in regards to North Korea. He apparently said ‘In North Korea, our goal is denuclearisation. We cannot allow this dictatorship to threaten our nation or our allies with unimaginable loss of life. We will do what we must do to prevent that from happening. And it will be done, if necessary, believe me.

“Moving forward, I also expect you to provide me with a broad range of military options, when needed, at a much faster pace. I know that government bureaucracy is slow, but I am depending on you to overcome the obstacles of bureaucracy.”

Well, that all seems lovely, with tension growing and growing and Trump seemingly becoming more power hungry by the second, it looks like the orange man in a wig is set on starting World War Three. Now if reading all this has brought you down and stressed you out, feel free to look at look at these cuties in celebration of World Animal Day on Wednesday.
