Good news for Arctic Monkeys fans, the group are said to be recording their new album and it set to be released at some point next year. The bands bassist, Nick O’Malley, spoke to a motorbike website (For The Ride). The website said that the musician had found time to talk to them before he started to record the bands sixth album in September. He then went on to state that the album should be out next year because if it isn’t ‘we’ve got problems’.

After a bit of a break with the members of the band working on their own projects, including front man Alex Turner working on music with The Last Shadow Puppets, the band have reunited and are back recording.
The new music will be the bands first release since their hit album AM that was released in 2013. The album was an immediate hit and sat nicely at number 1 on the charts. The album is also the biggest selling vinyl record of the decade. The album also spawned the Grammy nominated song Do I Wanna Know?
There have been rumours that the band have reunited since April, with drummer Matt Helders posting a photo of his drum kit on Instagram.
Then followed an image of Turner playing the piano that features in the image taken by Helders, resulting in excitement and rumours.
With nothing confirmed from the band or their label at the moment, it means that we will have to wait a little longer to know what is going on with the rockers, but lets hope that we find out soon!
